THE QUICK DEPLOY, CLASS 1 FIRE-RATED GAP SEAL

The AirBlock™ Flexible Gap Seal (FGS) from Simplex Isolation Systems was designed to increase cooling capacity in the data center by stopping air loss between misaligned racks. The FGS closes off gaps from 1/2" wide to 6" wide by attaching to racks with a flexible magnetic or hook and loop fastener side trim. This flexible seal is available in PolySim™ or FlexSim™, both Class 1 fire-rated materials. FGSs can be used as short-term or permanent solutions to fill odd spaces between racks

FEATURES

• Designed for fast installation and immediate results. 
• Available in two sizes for gaps ranging from 1/2" wide up to 6" wide. For larger gaps, use Simplex's AirBlock™ EFP line.
• Standard height is 84". Custom heights are also available.
• Offered in two proprietary materials: PolySim™ and FlexSim™ PVC, both Class 1 fire-rated and meet NFPA 701 and NFPA 76 standards for data center applications.
• Stock color is a semi-gloss black.
• Reusable and stores easily. Purchase a supply and have them on hand when needed.

INSTALLATION

• Squeeze the two edges together so that the magnet strip is facing out.
• Slide the seal into the gap between the racks.
• Release the edges and allow the magnets to seal to the sides of the racks, completing the installation. 
• If needed, trim the seal to fit the rack height with a knife or scissors.
